Terms of Service
Key points
- TTANG TTANG is a free game. In the app we sell paid products (one-time in-app purchases).
- Payments and refund payouts are handled by the App Store and Google Play. Users in Korea can cancel a purchase within 7 days of buying (right of withdrawal). However, paid paws you have already spent can't be cancelled.
- Paws and items are licenses to use inside this game only. You can't exchange them for money or transfer them to someone else. We can take back what you got from a payment that was refunded or cancelled.
- Our liability is limited as far as the law allows. It is not limited for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence.
- If you break these terms, we can restrict your access to online matches.

Who can use the game and accounts
You can use the game if you are 13 or older (14 or older in Korea; 13–16 or older in the EEA, depending on the country). If you are younger, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You can buy paid products if you are old enough to make contracts where you live, or with a parent's or guardian's consent.
In Korea, if someone under 19 paid without the consent of a legal guardian, they or their guardian can cancel the contract. If the contract is cancelled, everything paid is refunded. To cancel, ask the store you paid through (Apple or Google).
- You can play as a guest without an account. Signing in is only for backing up your progress and continuing on other devices. On iOS and Android, if Game Center or Play Games is signed in on your device, the app signs in automatically when it starts and backs up your progress. If you don't want this, sign out in Settings → Account; after that, the app won't sign in automatically.
- Guest progress (including paws and items) exists only on your device. If you uninstall the app or lose the device, it can't be recovered.
- You are responsible for your sign-in accounts. Keep your device and sign-in account safe so that no one else can get in.
- You can't sell or transfer your account or progress to anyone else.
The game
- You can play Practice (against bots on your device), Quick Match and Item Battle (short online matches) and Arena (a match that never ends). In online matches, other players see your nickname and look, and bots fill empty seats.
- Online features need an internet connection; Practice works without one. We fix and improve the game through store and web updates.
- We can change the game to fix it, balance it, or for security or legal reasons. Changes won't cost you anything extra. We don't compensate for balance changes (including match rewards and item prices in paws) or for changes to free features and free rewards.
- If a change is bad for you, such as making an item you bought unusable, we will post it on this page 30 days in advance, and any loss it causes is handled as the law requires. If we shut down the game, we will also tell you 30 days in advance.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the store payment screen (in Korea, as the total including VAT). Payment is only through the App Store or Google Play.
You are responsible for the internet access and data charges for using the service.
Paws and items
- Paws (🐾) are in-game currency used only to buy cosmetic items in the game. There are paid paws (bought with paid products) and free paws (match and ad rewards). For now they are shown together in one wallet.
- Free paws can't be refunded. When we count how many paid paws you have spent, we treat your free paws as spent first.
- If a payment is refunded or cancelled (including a store refund), we can take back the paws and items you got from it. If you have already spent them and they can't be taken back, we can deduct the same amount from your other paws or restrict your use of the game.
- Paws don't expire (until the game shuts down).
- You can't exchange paws or items for money or for another game's currency, or give or sell them to anyone.
- Products bought once and kept can be restored in Shop → Restore purchases. Products used up when spent (paws) can't be restored. If you sign in, your progress is backed up to the cloud.
- If the game shuts down, we refund your remaining paid paws as required by law. We accept refund requests from the day we announce the shutdown until 30 days after it.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
We only sell paid products in the apps (the iOS app through the App Store, the Android app through Google Play). Payments and refunds follow Apple's and Google's policies and processes, and refunds for a cancelled purchase are also made by the store you paid through. Your rights under the law stay the same.
How to ask The store refund request pages below are the withdrawal function (European Union) and the withdrawal button (Argentina). Please include the order number (in your receipt email), the purchase date and the product.
- App Store: ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: ask on the Google Play refund page.
Right of withdrawal by country
| Country | Right of withdrawal |
|---|---|
| Korea | Within 7 days of buying. However, as the shop tells you before payment, you can't cancel for paid paws you've already spent, including paws that come with other products (Korean E-Commerce Act, Article 17(2)5 and 17(6)). Unspent paws, products bought once and kept, and items you received with them can be cancelled within this period. If a product differs from its description or doesn't work properly, you can cancel within 3 months of the day you bought (received) it, and within 30 days of the day you found out, or could have found out, about the problem. |
| European Union | Within 14 days of buying, without giving a reason. If, when you paid, you agreed in the store to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal, and the store sent you a confirmation, you can't withdraw once supply has started. Without that consent or confirmation, you can withdraw and don't have to pay for what you used. |
| United Kingdom | You can cancel within 14 days of buying (right to cancel). If you agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel when you paid, you can't cancel once supply has started (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 37). |
| Japan | Because these are digital products, we don't accept withdrawal or returns for your own reasons. Including when a product has a defect, Apple's and Google's policies and processes apply. |
| Brazil | Within 7 days of buying (direito de arrependimento). You get your money back through the store you paid with, by the same payment method. |
| Argentina | Within 10 days of buying (arrepentimiento) |
| Chile | Within 10 days of buying (retracto) |
| Mexico | Within 5 business days of buying (revocación) |
| Colombia | Within 5 business days of buying (retracto) |
| Other countries | Under the refund policy of the store you paid through and the law of your country |
Information we send to the store When a refund request reaches Apple or Google, we may tell that store whether the item from the purchase was delivered and give our view on the refund, to help the store decide. By paying in the app, you agree to us sending it. The store decides whether to refund.
Nicknames and reports
There is no chat in the game. The only text players see from each other is the nickname, which the game generates automatically. In online matches, other players see your nickname and the look you chose, and we use nicknames only as far as needed to show them in the game.
Nickname rules You must not tamper with the app to use nicknames like the ones below. We can remove or change such nicknames without notice and restrict that user's online play.
- Insults, hate or discrimination, or sexual content
- Ads, links or contact details
- Other people's names or personal data, or pretending to be someone else
- Anything illegal or that infringes other people's rights
Point of contact We receive reports, appeals and contact from authorities (including EU authorities) directly at a single point of contact: support@bang9.dev. We answer in Korean and English, and you can also write in the game's languages (Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese).
Reporting If you see a problem nickname, send us the nickname, when you saw it and the mode (Quick Match, Item Battle, Arena). We review reports without delay, remove nicknames that break the rules or restrict that user's online play, and tell you the outcome.
Blocking Online matches are short (about 90 seconds) and players are matched fresh each time. If you'd rather not meet other players, you can play Practice mode (against bots only).
Copyright notices If your work is used in the game without permission, send us the work, where the infringing material is, your contact details and a statement that you are the rights holder. We have no DMCA agent registered with the US Copyright Office; notices go to the same point of contact. We restrict users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Prohibited conduct and restrictions
You must not:
- Tamper with the app or network traffic (modified apps, hacking), exploit bugs, or play with bots, macros or other automation
- Send excessive requests to our server or disrupt other people's games
- Break the nickname rules
- Use someone else's sign-in or account
- Copy, distribute or sell the game, its art or music without permission
- Use the game for any illegal purpose
If you do, we can block you from online matches, reverse ratings or rewards, or suspend your account, and if you seriously break these terms, we can end our agreement with you. If we have a way to reach you, we tell you the reason.
If your nickname was removed or your use was restricted and you think it was a mistake, send an appeal to the point of contact in Nicknames and reports. We review it again without delay and tell you the result and the reasons. If we got it wrong, we undo it.
Rights
The game's software, art, music and name belong to us or their original creators. We give you a personal, non-commercial right to use the game under these terms. You can't transfer this right. Items you buy are the same kind of license. Fonts and open-source software in the game follow their own licenses.
Stopping and deleting your account
You can stop using the game at any time. Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account; your account, cloud save and rating are deleted immediately. See Delete Your Account for details. If you want a copy of your cloud save before deleting, ask us.
Limitation of liability
- We run the game carefully, but we don't promise that the online servers will never go down or have errors.
- We are not responsible for outages or damage that are not our fault, for example force majeure such as natural disasters, war or power cuts; outages at other companies such as network carriers, the stores or our server providers; problems with your device or internet connection; or your own fault. Loss caused by other outages is handled under this section and the law.
- Unless we acted intentionally or with gross negligence, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss (such as profit you could have made) or for data loss (such as guest progress that wasn't backed up).
- For other damage, as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for this game in the last 12 months.
- We don't limit our liability for damage caused intentionally or through our gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or where the law doesn't allow limits.
- If you break these terms or the law and cause loss to us or to someone else, you must compensate for that loss.
- These terms don't reduce the rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we post what changed and the effective date on this page at least 7 days before (30 days if the change is bad for you). If you don't agree, you can stop using the game and delete your account before the effective date.
Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply.
- For payments and refunds, ask the store you paid through first; for other disputes, let us know. Users in Korea can apply for mediation to the Content Dispute Resolution Committee (www.kcdrc.kr) or the Korea Consumer Agency (1372).
- You can go to the court that has jurisdiction under Korean civil procedure law, or to the courts where you live. Small claims can use small claims procedures.
Store terms
Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies to the iOS app. These terms govern the game service (online matches, accounts, items), and payments follow each store's terms.
Users in Korea
Under Article 28 of Korea's Content Industry Promotion Act, we tell you where these terms differ from Korea's content user protection guidelines.
- Refunds: payments and refund payouts are made by the App Store and Google Play, so refunds follow each store's refund process.
- Changes to these terms and shutdown: we announce them by posting on this page (7 days before for changes to these terms, 30 days before for changes bad for you and for a shutdown). We don't send individual notices.
- Outages: loss caused by an outage is handled under Limitation of liability and the law. There is no fixed compensation based on how long an outage lasts.
Users in the European Union
- Pre-contract information: our identity and contact details and those of the merchant of record are in Operator and business information; the main features of each product and the total price including tax are on the store payment screen. The game works on iOS and Android devices the stores allow it to be installed on, and in current browsers.
- Right of withdrawal and withdrawal function: see Right of withdrawal and refunds.
- Conformity: if an item you bought doesn't work as described, we will fix it, reduce the price or refund you as the law requires.
